my name is albert and i’m a fourth year architecture student at cal poly. in our fourth year, many students are given the opportunity to study abroad, like florence or copenhagen for a year or rome for a semester, or work off campus in la or san fran. i chose Paris because it was a year long program and one of the best cities in europe out of the three year long programs.
but there was a catch. there always a catch.
the program is entirely in french. i dont know french. but since i heard about this program in november i wanted to go. so ive been learning french picking it up here and there.
the reason i started a blog was because many people don’t know what goes on in this study abroad program as well as all the study abroad programs. ill try to show my adventures, experiences and architecture work to inform and hopefully maybe entertain you a little.

Paris is good, but having just come back from Istanbul, I would say that this is my current favourite and I do know that there is a question if it really is in Europe.
I still love Venice too!
